Members of the rural Mexican town of Casa Grande practice the Stations of the Cross by carrying a crucifix, flowers, and a portrait of the Virgin Mary from door to door in the village and saying a series of prayers. The stations of the cross are a Catholic custom performed each Friday of Lent in order to recognize the crucifixion of Jesus.
